The events worked. They delivered 30-50% of new business pipeline. But every collaboration required teams across multiple companies coordinating through spreadsheets and endless messages just to make the simplest decisions. And at the end of every quarter, the same question from leadership: which events are worth the investment?
Nobody had an answer. Not because the events weren't driving results, but because no system existed to capture the relationship signals happening between companies. Your CRM records what happens inside your company. It was never in the room when the introduction happened, when the trust was built, when the warm path to a deal was created.
